Future Business Leaders of America

Future Business Leaders of America, or FBLA, aims to prepare students for future careers in business, management, entrepreneurship, and technology. FBLA has over 250,000 members involved internationally, from China, Canada, the USA, and more. With so many members involved, different leadership positions are available for members across the spectrum: locally, statewide, or nationally. On the state level, every state’s state officer team is elected annually to lead their members. Specifically for Washington FBLA, I’ve served as a two-time Southwest Region Vice President, one-time State President, and one-time Executive Vice President. On the national level, nine high school members represent the national officer team and lead the organization. With each officer comes a national council consisting of five hand-selected outstanding members. I’ve served on three national councils: Middle School Director on the National Western Region Council, Public Relations Director on the National Treasurer’s Executive Council, and Executive Assistant on the National Secretary’s Executive Council. Through these positions, I have worked with high school students nationwide to host workshops, create membership campaigns, and speak at conferences. FBLA has taught me everything I know about leadership, and I’m still learning every day when I work with my amazing State Officer Team and State Officer Coach!
